Protesters Rally To Show Support For Student, 11 Kelsey O'Maley, who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, told XETV that she feels the school treated her unfairly when school administrators supported her fifth grade teacher's wishes not to have the girl in her class. "I want to be back in my class, really bad," Kelsey told a reporter. "And I would do . . . anything in the world to get back in my class, not some other class, my class." Kelsey's mother, Kimberlee, said she plans to file a federal lawsuit if the school fails to follow the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act. "She feels isolated," Kimberlee said of her daughter. "She feels she no longer belongs at this school, nor is she wanted at this school." Kelsey added: "We're going to fight until they are miserable."
