| Notice of Request for Proposals for Partners in Policymaking® The Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities (GCDD) is pleased to announce the availability of a total of $210,000 in federal funds under provisions of the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000 (DD Act)(P.L. 106-402) for Replication of the Minnesota Partners in Policymaking® Program, Partners Graduate Workshops, and Follow Along Activities. Proposals are being sought from any public organization or any private non-profit organization that has 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt status. The GCDD will make a single award of $210,000 to replicate the eight-month Partners leadership training program; prepare packets of supplemental resource materials for program participants for the weekend sessions; maintain and update the Partners database; plan and conduct at least one Partners graduate workshop; and assure that program evaluation is completed by an external evaluator and the Partners listserv is continued. Funding is available for a one-year period. Continuation funding is dependent upon the availability of federal funds and satisfactory performance of the contractor.
