I was born with a disability. But I Didn't know it at the time. My teacher caught on when I was in the first grade that I had trouble keeping up with other kids my age. That is when they transferred me to another school where I needed special classes for my disability.
When I was in the second grade the school social worker found out I was having seizures where I go out for one minute and come back to. This is when I had to go to the hospital for a bunch of tests to find out what was wrong with my brain. This is when they put me on medication for my seizures.
They put me on a brain normalizer and another kind of medication. I was able to go off the seizure medication when I was in the eighth grade.
About ten years ago, in 1995, I was diagnosed with panic/anxiety disorder. I am on Paroxetine for panic disorder, I am on Alprazolam for my anxiety attacks.
I work at Kaposia in Crystal, MN collating and delivering the Sun-Post and Sun Sailor papers. |
